Welcome!
My name is Erin and I am a 22-year-old marketing major. I live in Williamsport, PA and love to shop, eat, play with my puppies, and spend time with my fiancé in State College. I am trying to lead a healthy life fueled by good food and exercise. That is not to say I don't love a cannoli now and then. I'm striving for a healthy balance and blogging about the journey along the way.

December 31st, 2012 Hey everyone! Happy New Years! I am SO excited for 2013 and all the good things it will bring. I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for the past week, I’ve been soaking up family time with Josh and his parents in Connecticut. December 21st, 2012 I’m going to try and keep this story short and sweet. I’ve got to get some rest before a busy day at work tomorrow and then I have an early day of travel on Saturday to make my way to Connecticut for the holidays. For everyone who wished me luck with my Doctors appointment today, thank you. The GI thinks I have an intolerance to some type of food or a digestion issue, thankfully nothing

December 19th, 2012 Hey all! I hope your week is going well! One of the things I love about the healthy living community is that I can geek out about fitness things and you guys get it. Fitness hasn’t been happening very often for me lately between going to the Doctor wheezing and with chest tightness which turned into me having asthma and my stomach issues that I’m currently dealing with. (Going to see a GI today so

December 17th, 2012 I don’t think it would be possible to start this post without first mentioning what happened in Newtown, Connecticut last Friday. My heart breaks for those poor families who lost so much in such a horrific way during what should be such a happy time of year. I’m not a parent so I can’t imagine what the loss of a child feels like but it has got to be one of the worst things in

As of this posting, only one semester stands between me and a Bachelor’s Degree! I’m so happy to be done with this semester and finals! As long as I keep my grades exactly as they are, I’ll be graduating summa cum laude in May. Thinking about graduating next semester is both exciting and terrifying. A college degree brings real job opportunities, a sense of achievement, and real bills.
When I started thinking

December 12th, 2012 Hey everyone! I hope you’re all having an amazing week! It’s finals week for me, which means it has been busy, busy, busy. But despite all the busyness it’s always good to take time to relax and enjoy. One of the ways I relaxed last week was by baking some cookies!
Through FitFluential I was given the opportunity to connect with Smart Balance and try some of their products. I’ve always heard great things

December 10th, 2012 Hey everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Like always, it passed by way too quick. Josh and I had a lot on our agenda.
We went to a Christmas party! Josh’s program was hosting a party and it was such a fun time. Josh’s program is so nice and I feel so lucky to consider so many of them good friends. There was definitely a packed house. This is our first Christmas

December 5th, 2012 The holiday season is always a time of reflection for me. As the year comes to an end with a month filled with celebrations and festivities I always find myself looking back on where I’ve been and thinking forward to where I want to go. And my mind always seems to ponder happiness. What is happiness? Everyone wants it. Everyone wants a happy life, happy relationship, and a job that makes you happy. But happiness

December 4th, 2012 Hey guys, thank you all so much for the sweet comments yesterday about my asthma diagnosis. The comments really mean a lot to me, and now that I am mostly done with a school project that has been sucking the life out of me, I am very excited to get to comment back to everyone. It feels weird to me to consider myself as having asthma since in my day to day life I have
