Welcome!

My name is Erin and I am a 22-year-old marketing major. I live in Williamsport, PA and love to shop, eat, play with my puppies, and spend time with my fiancé in State College. I am trying to lead a healthy life fueled by good food and exercise. That is not to say I don't love a cannoli now and then. I'm striving for a healthy balance and blogging about the journey along the way.

Hey all! I hope your week is going well! One of the things I love about the healthy living community is that I can geek out about fitness things and you guys get it. Fitness hasn’t been happening very often for me lately between going to the Doctor wheezing and with chest tightness which turned into me having asthma and my stomach issues that I’m currently dealing with. (Going to see a GI today so fingers crossed!) I know fitness is what keeps people healthy but when I’m not feeling well I get anxious and the last thing I want to do is exercise. I’m bummed I haven’t been able to keep up my exercise goals for the holiday season but I know right now I need rest and that when I’m back in full health my butt is going to be back on that treadmill and out on that pavement. Getting to exercise isn’t a chore, it’s a blessing. It means you’re healthy and your body is doing what it is designed to do. When I do get back to exercising I am so excited to be rocking this incredibly cute new outfit:

I love full length tights with a wide waistband and a pocket for keys. It is so important when I’m running outside to be able to store things on my body instead of having to hold them in my hands. My arms start to feel tired and my palms get sweaty and it is not fun. Pockets solve all of this! :D I also love long racerback tanks with built in bras in bright colors and fun patterns. Being a smaller busted girl I don’t need a lot of coverage but when a tank doesn’t have support built in I have to wear a bra underneath. I don’t mind doing that butit’s nice to have one less garment to worry about. Together I thought this made a super cute workout outfit! I know your job isn’t to look cute when you’re at the gym but lets be real here: when you feel good about yourself and the way you look you’re happier and good things happen as a result.

This super cute outfit wasn’t purchased in a traditional manner. I received my outfit from a monthly-service company called pv.Body. I filled out a survey about what type of workout clothes I like, what type of exercises I do, and what my sizes are. I was nervous that they wouldn’t get the type of clothes I like right, I mean there are a lot of different gym styles out there. I was also worried the clothes wouldn’t fit right. While my upper body is super easy to fit and dress without much thought, my lower body requires trying things on and reading sizing labels.

I knew pv.Body was off to the right start when I saw a bright pink package waiting for me on the counter when I got home from work the other day. I wish all mail came in packages like this.

Fit, size, and functionality-wise pvBody understood my needs perfectly. The leggings are from American Apparel’s athletic line and the top is from a company that I seriously need to start shopping at called Electric Yoga. How adorable is the subtle striping pattern?  Both are super comfy and breathable and movable. They are absolutely two pieces I would pick out for myself when shopping. A+ to pv.Body for getting it completely right. :)

Easy peasy lemon squeezy: pv.Body is easy. Take the quiz, sign up and boom, an awesome package arrives at your door each month with a hand picked outfit for you!

Every outfit is styled just for you by a pv.Body expert. Each month you receive an outfit worth $150, but you pay just $49.95. You’re getting great, quality pieces for a fraction of the retail cost thanks to the relationships pv.Body has built.

pv.Body is not just another clothing company, but a lifestyle brand. Their blog is a great place to check out tips and tricks for healthy, delicious meals and at home workouts.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of pv.Body. The opinions and text are all mine.

Question(s) of the Day: What is your workout clothing style? Do you like looser fits or tighter fits? Do you rock brighter colors or stick with neutrals? Do you prefer working out in shorts, capris, or pants? Do you like shirts with built in sports bras or do you prefer to wear your own?
