Welcome!

My name is Erin and I am a 22-year-old marketing major. I live in Williamsport, PA and love to shop, eat, play with my puppies, and spend time with my fiancé in State College. I am trying to lead a healthy life fueled by good food and exercise. That is not to say I don't love a cannoli now and then. I'm striving for a healthy balance and blogging about the journey along the way.

A New Book Obsession

Girl Gone Veggie Book Review Divergent Insurgent Erin Smith

Oh man this weekend flew by. Between cleaning and packing up my winter clothes for Omaha and speed reading through my latest book obsessions I feel like I blinked and Friday turned into Monday. One of my favorite things about the summer time is summer reading. There’s something wonderful about getting to read purely for pleasure instead of for a school assignment. While I’m not really going to have much downtime between work, the wedding,

What Alice Forgot

I love winter break. Aside from getting to rest, relax, visit Josh’s family in Connecticut, and reflect on how amazing 2012 was, I also got to read. I love immersing myself in a good book, but somehow never seem to get around to it in-between classes and work. I love PBFingers book club and was so excited when I saw her January book club pick was What Alice Forgot.

The book jacket description right

A Weekend Wedding in Connecticut

Hey all! I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend and that your work week is starting off well. Josh and I just got back from Connecticut last night and we had the absolute best time. I forgot to mention on my blog before I left but I was Tweeting up a storm about how I was so excited to travel to New Haven on Friday to go to a wedding of one of Josh’s

Three Things for Thursday

1. I haven’t been too productive these past few days. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I spent most of my days and nights reading. Ever since Josh and I saw the movie and started reading together this weekend I have not been able to put down the books. Last night I finished The Hunger Games series and all I can say is wow. Its been a long time since I read a series that

What I Did This Weekend (plus Giveaway Winners!)

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your last week before Christmas is off to a great start. I just got back from the doctors and am happy to say I have a clean bill of health! I have very pale skin and have been worried about some moles I’ve had since I was little. I’m a worrier and I was really nervous leading up to the appointment that I was going to get bad news. Thankfully

Notes for November

I love lists. And stationary. And tupperware. Things that can organize and declutter life (and my brain) are awesome. I think of this blog as a decluttering agent. It helps me get my thoughts out there, chronicles my life, and records my memories. I thought it would be fun to start every month with a list on here of ten things I would like to achieve by the end of the month.

So without

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I know I did! And as of yesterday I am officially 21! I’m so excited to finally be fully legal! The last milestone I have left is being able to rent a car at 25. Somehow I think this one is much more exciting! I’m sorry I promised an update yesterday and didn’t get around to it til today, I thought I would have time on my birthday

Today was a good day. It started off just like any other Thursday, I woke up, had a breakfast burrito, went to finance class, died ran for twenty minutes in aerobics class, came home and had some pasta salad. I don’t know if it was the frigid temperature (at one point today it was in the 40′s!) or I was just craving some coffee but after lunch I decided today would be a perfect Starbucks
