Welcome!

My name is Erin and I am a 22-year-old marketing major. I live in Williamsport, PA and love to shop, eat, play with my puppies, and spend time with my fiancé in State College. I am trying to lead a healthy life fueled by good food and exercise. That is not to say I don't love a cannoli now and then. I'm striving for a healthy balance and blogging about the journey along the way.

Cinco de Mayo Celebrations

Josh Erin Cinco De Mayo Graduation Penn State Girl Gone Veggie

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

And that it was full of silliness.

And good times with good friends.

Josh and I went to a graduation party to celebrate Andrea getting her Bachelors. I’m so excited for all the amazing things she has coming her way! She’s heading off to grad school down south this fall.

It was the perfect weather for a patio party.

Getting Back on the Treadmill: Running with Asthma

Girl Gone Veggie Erin Smith Running Runner Sweat Pink FitFluential Running with Asthma

I did something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time today.

At the top of my to-do list today was to workout.  I was trying not to put any pressure on myself by telling myself it could be any kind of workout. Pilates and I have been very good friends lately. As much as I love stretches and killer ab crunches I really, really wanted to run today. In the last three

A New York Minute

Erin Smith Girl Gone Veggie Mollies Cupcakes NYC Swings

Hey guys! Did any of you see notices the other day when you tried to visit my site that Chrome or Firefox stopped you and said that my site had malware? When Josh first told me about it I figured it had to be some kind of mistake. Obviously I’m not posting malware on this site alongside pictures of puppies and cupcakes. After looking into it through a free website scanner I realized someone had

Getting Ready for the Holidays

I don’t think it would be possible to start this post without first mentioning what happened in Newtown, Connecticut last Friday. My heart breaks for those poor families who lost so much in such a horrific way during what should be such a happy time of year. I’m not a parent so I can’t imagine what the loss of a child feels like but it has got to be one of the worst things in

A Day Off

It’s almost the weekend! I am SO excited. After work on Friday I’m heading to Josh’s for a weekend of sunshine and relaxing. This week has been a busy one at work and I’m looking forward to lounging and vegging out. I got to do a bit of that today on my day off and it felt great!

I slept in until almost nine and made myself a green smoothie for breakfast. I

A Busy Summer Day in State College

After a super fun Saturday celebrating my sister’s baby shower, I got up bright and early on Sunday to head to State College and spend the day with Josh. I got there around lunch time and we were both feeling hungry so we decided to stop by Wegmans and pick up some good food.

I love Wegman’s Cafe area. There are so many different types of foods and a flavor for every taste bud.

Internship Training {And Good News!!}

Wow a lot has happened in two days! I’m back in Williamsport after hitting the road at 7am on Monday to head to the city for two days of training for my summer internship. This is my second summer internship (my first being for Sony in Hawaii) and I am so excited for the opportunity. Anything that gets me experience and that I get to add to my resume is a good thing. Pay and

Breaking the Sweat Fast

1. I worked out today for the first time in a long time and it felt so. good. I hate that I get really good about working out daily and then I get busy doing something or go on vacation and suddenly its been a month since I’ve got in a good workout. When I’m doing it I always love it and feel so good about myself, I can never remember why I stopped.
