Welcome!
My name is Erin and I am a 22-year-old marketing major. I live in Williamsport, PA and love to shop, eat, play with my puppies, and spend time with my fiancé in State College. I am trying to lead a healthy life fueled by good food and exercise. That is not to say I don't love a cannoli now and then. I'm striving for a healthy balance and blogging about the journey along the way.

Happy National Drink Your Veggies Day! I’ll be celebrating with a green smoothie in NYC. I’m here for a few days to hang out with friends before heading to Connecticut for last minute wedding preparations. I’ll be getting my ring cleaned and finalizing my wedding hair and makeup. There’s only three weeks until the big day!
Last week I shared a recipe for summer tomato orzo with a lemon kick. Thanks for all the

I’m excited to have my first guest post on my blog today! And it’s an extra special guest poster- it’s my Dad! (My cutie patootie nephew was not involved in this blog post, but I’m sure he supports it.) He recently went on a trip to Atlantic City and came home talking about how much fun it was. He just started using a digital camera and enjoyed getting to document his trip. When he

This past weekend I got to accomplish a childhood fantasy.
I got to visit the Crayola Factory! Easton, PA is only a half an hour from where I grew up. Every time I would visit the area I’d want to visit Crayola headquarters. But because of one thing or another I never got to visit. With Josh and I moving to Omaha in just about a month (time is flying!) I really wanted to

This weekend was a very special one for me. One of my best friends got married! It was one of the most beautiful, well thought out weddings I have ever been to. I told Josh that if we are able to put as much of our personality into our wedding as Summer and Sean put into theirs I will be very happy. It was so good to be back in the Poconos and see old

Hey guys! I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday because I didn’t get home until after 11pm. I was in Hershey, PA for press day at Hershey Park. I was invited to check out the revamped Boardwalk at Hershey Park and was able to bring Josh, my Dad, and Pierce. The trip hit a little bit of a snafu when I was filling up my car with gas on the way to State College

Happy Friday! I’m so excited for the weekend. This is my last weekend of work before I’m pretty much done with college. Hallelujah! This week I’ve shared Josh and my apartment hunt and our food adventures in Omaha. I also want to share the hotel we stayed at. We could not recommend a place more highly.
We stayed at the Element by Westin in Midtown Crossing. When we booked the reservation I had no

I hope your week has been going well! I’m *this close* to being done with my last semester of college and it’s kind of crazy to think about. Zumba and carbs have been getting me through test taking and paper writing. I was so excited to get to share apartment pictures with you guys the other day. Josh and I are so excited about all the blessings we have to look forward to. Next up

Thank you guys so much for all the love on yesterday’s post. It was such an amazing experience getting to be a part of a campaign that is all about honesty, acceptance, communication, and empowerment. As a future marketer I hope to be able to work on campaigns with similar goals.
This post was supposed to go up last night, but I was so tired after work I fell asleep on the couch and woke

Hey guys! Long time no post. Since I wrote last big things have happened. Unfortunately the biggest news story was the Boston Marathon bombing. Like everyone else, I am praying for Boston. The story of Patrick and Jessica, newlyweds that both lost legs in the explosion particularly saddened me. I feel inspired by all the goodness people have showed in the aftermath and am so grateful both bombers were brought to justice. In much

As you’re reading this Josh and I are either on our way to Nebraska or on the ground in Omaha exploring the city and apartment hunting. I have been looking forward to this trip for weeks. Unfortunately my IBS decided now would be a good time to start acting up again but I’m not letting it put a damper on all the excitement we have ahead of us. We have a busy week
