Hey guys! I hope your weekend was as relaxing as this little girl’s:

She’s a party animal, I tell ya. My weekend involved lots of lounging and relaxing and a little bit of silliness that I share with you guys in this post. I’m writing this while watching the Oscars and I’m loving the show. My fashion favorites this year include:

Stacy Keibler’s dress was absolutely gorgeous. She always looks so put together.

Jennifer Garner is my favorite Hollywood actress. She kicked butt as Sydney Bristow on Alias and now she’s happily married and raising three adorable little kids. Some people really can have it all. I thought she looked absolutely stunning in this gown.

Amy Adams is my favorite Hollywood redhead and forever Princess Giselle in my mind. I think she looked every bit the princess in this gown.
If you’ve been following my Twitter lately you know that I have been loving Lisa Johnson’s Modern Pilates DVD. Pilates is such a great workout, it works every part of my body and leaves me feeling strong and sore afterwards. I’ve been doing Pilates since I was a preteen so I know most of the moves by now. I was excited while doing Lisa’s DVD to learn some new-to-me exercise moves, including the one I videotaped myself doing. It’s just so fun!

Josh and I had the tasting for our wedding food scheduled this weekend. Due to some unexpected (but seriously exciting) things that came up I ended up running and grabbing a very stripped down version of the food to bring back to the apartment for Josh and I to try. For our starter course we’re having a spinach, walnut, berry, and goat cheese salad. For our main course we’re going to have pesto tortellini with goat cheese, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes as one food option and eggplant parm over fettucini as the second choice. Our tasting experience was a condensed version of the process but everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. We think our guests are going to be very happy with the food.

I spent some girl time with Lily over the weekend talking all things wedding. She was so sweet to let me raid her closet for a dress for my first bridal shower in Connecticut in two weeks. I’m so excited! We also got to use her new juicer. I loved her apple carrot creation. I definitely need to add more veggies to my smoothie rotation.

Lily made delicious egg omelets for us with spinach, onions, parsley, black beans, and goat cheese. It was such a yummy breakfast and definitely inspired me to get back to mixing veggies in with my eggs again. I’ve gotten lazy and have just been putting eggs on toast lately. As good as that tastes it tastes even better with all the extra food goodies.

Speaking of goodies, I came home from Josh’s today to a super sweet Valentine’s Day package from Josh’s parents. How amazing are they? This totally made my night and made me smile so big. I’m so lucky to have them in my life. I definitely already devoured one of those chocolate covered pretzels. They’re so good!
Question of the Day: What was a highlight of your weekend? Did you watch the Oscars? Who was your best dressed pick?

OMG- I was obsessed with Alias. LOVED that show.
It was my FAVORITE show when I was little! I would talk about it for hours on end with my friends during lunch and stuff. haha We were so cool. ;p
oooh and dod you know FF’s own VAL WATERS trains Jen Garner??
Really?! I did not know that! That’s amazing!
Watched the oscars, but with half an eye because I needed to finish up the post I was working on. I’m embarrassed to say I don’t remember who wore what.
I loved the Oscars but oh man I wish I had chosen sleep the next morning. I was so tired!
Jennifer Lawrence and Amanda Seyfried also looked amazing. Loved watching!
Yes! I felt so bad when Jennifer Lawrence fell though. That must have been so mortifying. It would have totally been something I would do.
Haha oh my gosh, I LOVED Alias!
Jessica Chastain look amazing! She was simply lovely!
Jessica Chastain is so beautiful! Alias was my favorite show when I was little!
Stacy Kiebler’s dress is amazing!
It was my favorite last night! As soon as I saw it on TV I loved it.
For me, Naomi Watts absolutely killed it with her dress. Perfection. Period. Not getting what wasn’t to love about it. I liked, Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidmans dresses but in my opinion it was definitely Naomi. I also loved how Kristin Stewart was a hot mess, and Jennifer Lawrence looked terrific even falling over.
Naomi Watts is beautiful! I also really liked Nicole Kidman, I normally hate her dresses but I thought she looked great tonight! Jennifer Lawrence is just cool, she’s so real.
